The trend for men’s loose-fitting, baggy jeans is a bonus for crime-fighters, report police in Stamfort, Connecticut in the USA. A number of fleeing felons have reportedly been tripped up when their oversized pants slipped below their hips. While this trend may be helping police to catch cook, it makes searching them harder. “They’re able to wear jeans, sweatpants, long johns and boxers”, say one police officer, “so if I’m looking for a small item it makes it a little bit more difficult”.
